One species that I find it regrettable that are in extinction is the huemul, this animal is part of our national symbol, shield, and no great concern for the conservation of this animal, last year I had the opportunity to travel south Southern Chili and I surprised his landscapes, but unfortunately the previous year to a foreigner an accident happened which made part of the national reserve of "Torres del Paine" is on fire, so much of the "flora and fauna" was lost and just one of the animals that could not be observed was the huemul. 
For me it was really devastating because before reaching the park, we will tour beautiful scenery, and see that part of that place had been torn her aching nature ... It is unfortunate that as individuals we do not charge our responsibilities, gives me much more angry when I think of the Humboldt Penguins located in northern Chile, this story had as owners of the yachts were shooting penguins because these defecated on their yachts... It really sounds crazy, we know not live with our environment, I think if the state is doing something you do not know, so you should act in our culture to alleviate some of this problem...
