The gender differences that really matter - in mental health - ¿?

The news I have chosen talk about gender differences that really matter - mental health, mainly the news declares alleged differences between the brains of men and women communicate uncritically, while a very real disparity is ignored.

Through her arguments are given to try to distance himself from the differences in brain function, as classic cliché, it suggest that it is not addressing that men have more spatial discrimination than women, and that women have more social skills.

But take this out of attempts to explain what the news, it would be the "mental health," the main concern being that in my opinion is not ageno psychology these issues.

However, likewise raises such that rates of psychological disorders are 20-40% higher in women than in men, with specially marked discrepancy for common problems such as anxiety, depression and insomnia, for the news if it is true that men have more problems with alcohol and drugs, it does not balance the difference.

While these data do not believe that depart from reality, I think it is a mistake individualization of these problems (man - woman), because I believe in cultural rather than deterministic explanations, although the news touches on the issue of sexism, I think it's wrong addressed, understanding that it is a means of mass communication and not an advertising market to encourage play and patriarchal ideas, it seems more marketing information.

I think that the contributions of this story just because it's relevant to these data with what public policy is, but I personally would have a more critically when writing ... I deviated a little summary of the news, but is that review could not stop because I think an issue of great sensitivity today.
